Public interest in polo has been growing steadily since the 1980s however in central London it has a history going back 100 years.
The Hurlingham Club hosted regular weekly fixtures until 1939 when their fields were required for the war effort and the ‘Dig for Victory’ food production campaign.
Polo returned to London in 2009 and Chestertons Polo in the Park swings into action on 9th June with ‘Cudos International Friday’.
The competition and entertainment continue over the weekend with Ladies Day on Saturday and Finals Day on Sunday. Every day there is an option to dine in style at the exclusive Hurlingham Club before an afternoon of high-octane polo action and a traditional afternoon tea.
