We can fly you to Cheltenham Racecourse from anywhere in the UK and northern Europe and as a guide, flights from London take 40 minutes.

CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL – HELICOPTER CHARTERS

Our fleet is at your disposal. In March we’ll be flying our fleet to Cheltenham Festival, one of the best horse racing events in the calendar and, you can fly in comfort and style in one of our high-class aircraft.

Fitted out in luxurious leather, with room enough for you and up to five guests, you’ll find this is a beautiful aircraft to travel in.

Once aboard, you’ll find complimentary, award-winning English Sparkling wine. You’ll have just enough time to flip through The Racing Post and find out what the experts are predicting for the day ahead, before we set you down in the centre of the action with plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere before the first race.

EARLY BOOKING ESSENTIAL

The Cheltenham Festival is one of our busiest times of the year so booking early is essential. Some of our aircraft will be booked up a year in advance for Gold Cup Day, so please call our Operations Team as soon as possible to discuss your requirements.

With an estimated 135,000 people passing through Cheltenham Spa train station throughout The Festival, 80,000 people utilising the shuttle bus service and 37,000 cars parked on-site, arriving in your own private chartered helicopter is by far the most convenient way to arrive at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Flight times from London to Cheltenham are around 40 minutes. However, you can choose any departure point that suits your plans best, including your offices if you are entertaining corporate clients. Our team can fine-tune the details, so call them today on 0800 328 0432.

Atlas Helicopters – Dedicated to Detail.

The new arrivals lounge at Cheltenham racecourse

The whole of our helicopter fleet will be at your disposal for private hire throughout the Cheltenham Festival. We’ll be landing at a designated heliport and have courtesy transport ready and waiting to take you directly to the racecourse. We also have the Arrivals lounge, where you can find drinks and nibbles and mingle with other guests before your transfer to the racecourse. After a day full of excitement, we’ll be ready to deliver you (and hopefully your winnings!) home safely at the end of the day.

If you’re planning on visiting The Festival across the whole week then Atlas can cater for your every need, arranging your accommodation, corporate entertainment and any other plans in your itinerary. We have great links with local hotels and fine dining experiences. For example Lords of the Manor, the luxury hotel situated in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds is just over 30 minutes away from Cheltenham Racecourse and one of our heli-dining partners. The stunning hotel is an excellent base for the week, with many sumptuous dining options on-site and beautiful grounds to explore.

Please call our friendly operations team to book your flight and discuss any other horse racing event.

What to expect at the Cheltenham Festival

Have you heard the Cheltenham Roar? Some say the roar is loud enough to drown out the sound of our fleet of helicopters!

The roar rises at the beginning of the first race of the Cheltenham Festival – four days of quality jump racing and spectacle, which culminates in the Cheltenham Gold Cup – a race that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Described as horse racing’s favourite fixture, The Festival spans four extraordinary days. Beginning with Champion Day on Tuesday, followed by Ladies Day on Wednesday featuring The Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase.

The party spirit continues on Thursday, known as St Patrick’s Thursday, with an early celebration of St Patrick’s Day. The prestigious Ryanair Steeple Chase and renowned Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle both take place on Day Three.

On the final day, horse racing fans around the world will be looking to the course for the climax of the jump season, the Cheltenham Gold Cup Steeple Chase, which has an electric atmosphere to be savoured first hand. The incredible race will be even more exciting this year as horseracing fans eagerly await to see if Al Boum Photo can grasp the cup for the third consecutive year, equalling Best Mates’ run of 2002, 2003 and 2004 and joining the likes of Golden Miller and Arkle.

The Cheltenham Festival is an event that captures the heart of all who attend. The excitement in the atmosphere is palpable and The Festival has provided some of the most entertaining jump races in history. Book now to avoid disappointment and fly in over a crowd of 40,000 people in your own private helicopter.
