Many hotels have special stays over the festive period and our heli-dining partners are no exception. Here’s a quick rundown of the events you can expect from some of them at Christmas and don’t forget Atlas’ Operations Team can organise the whole break for you, just give them your times and dates and everything will be taken care of.

Lainston House Hotel

Lainston House in Winchester is the place to go for a traditional yet informal Christmas gathering. On Christmas Eve, guests will be treated to a festive afternoon tea, followed by a performance of Christmas carols by the local church choir in the evening.

There’s a delicious four-course dinner at 7.30 and transport to and from the magnificent Winchester Cathedral available from 10.45.

On Christmas Day, you can enjoy breakfast in bed, roasted chestnuts & champagne at midday, and a fantastic traditional five-course Christmas lunch with matching wines from 12.30 onwards.

The day has a real family character and larger groups can even opt to dine together in one of Lainston House’s stunning private dining rooms. There’s even the chance a certain jolly old man will join in the festivities…

Hartwell House

The historic Hartwell House in Buckinghamshire will be celebrating Christmas Eve as a rather more formal occasion, with a black tie welcome reception followed a four-course dinner, and carols in the hotel’s Great Hall.

Christmas Day is a more relaxed affair, with a stunning four-course Christmas lunch prepared by head chef Daniel Richardson (served with matching wines), a showing of the Queen’s annual speech in the hotel’s drawing room, and finally in the evening a buffet dinner for resident guests.

Eastwell Manor

Ashford’s Eastwell Manor is offering a range of events over the length of the Christmas holiday.

For guests arriving on Christmas Eve, there’ll be the Champagne & Canape Reception from 7pm in the Manor Cocktail Bar, a three course dinner and a performance of carols by a local choir around the hotel’s beautiful Christmas tree.

On the big day, guests will be treated to an appearance by Father Christmas himself during breakfast at the Manor Restaurant. There will be amazing falconry displays during the afternoon in the hotel garden, and mulled wine & roasted chestnuts on the hotel terrace before a delicious Christmas Lunch.

Priory Bay

The Isle of Wight’s Priory Hotel places a particular emphasis on family – hence their Christmas Lunch is available for both residential guests and non-residential guests alike.

On the big day there’ll be breakfast, mulled wine, the aforementioned lunch and even a visit from Santa and his reindeer Rudolph!

Rhinefield House

Rhinefield House hotel in Hampshire is serving guests an amazing five-course dinner – on Boxing Day! Guests will be welcomed to their room with mulled wine and mince pieces, followed by a Champagne & canapes reception and a carol choir before dinner time comes.

On the 25th there’ll be a full traditional breakfast, and later a traditional lunch with roast turkey sourced from the beautiful New Forest surroundings. Guests can then relax in front of the hotel’s log fire and enjoy a buffet dinner with their friends & loved ones.

Chewton Glen

Unfortunately Chewton Glen has been fully booked over the Christmas period – and with the range of activities on offer, it’s not hard to see why.

Their Christmas House Party boasts a dinner & carols on the 24th, breakfast in the morning, a traditional Christmas lunch with accompanying piano music in the afternoon, classic Christmas film showings, afternoon tea, cocktails & canapes, a buffet dinner and even more celebrations on Boxing Day.

Lime Wood Hotel

The New Forest’s Limewood Hotel offers a more laidback celebration of the Christmas period, with cocktails and nibbles to whet your appetite before you sit down to a sumptuous three-course dinner.

Lime Wood Hotel in the winter

There’s plenty of options for private dining parties, and the beautiful winter forest surroundings are perfect for instilling a little festive cheer.
