Travel in comfort this May and book a chartered helicopter flight. Our pilots are highly trained and ready to help you get to the Chelsea Flower show in style and without stress. The show is located at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London.
The first Great Spring Show was originally held in 1862 at the RHS gardens in Kensington. Before this, there were many flower shows dating back to 1833. The Chelsea Flower Show has been leading the springtime events and is held over five days in May by the Royal Horticultural Society. Since 1912 the show has been attended by many members of the Royal Family.
The Chelsea Flower show receives praise across the board and has around 157,000 visitors each year. The 11-acre ground remains a ticketed event, and tickets must be purchased in advance. In 2004, the show went from a 4-day event to a 5-day event, allowing guests to marvel at the beauty the show has to offer.
WHAT CAN I DO AT THE CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW?
Attend the avant-garde show gardens by leading names in the industry, and visit the Floral Marquee at the centre. There are many other features the Chelsea Flower show boasts of including smaller gardens, such as the Artisan and Urban Gardens. Be sure to visit the new category “All About Plants” which highlights the positive impact of plants. The RHS will be back in the Great Pavilion with the finest growers and nurseries showcasing their impressive displays and offering advice.
